During the winter of 2020, I interned at One Heart Worldwide, a maternal health NGO in Nepal. My role focused on adapting their 'Network of Safety' model—a proven system implemented in Nepal’s mountain regions—for their planned expansion into the Terai (plains) region. This model integrates healthcare delivery with cultural sensitivity and community-driven solutions, creating a framework for sustainable change.
